The upper floors of one of the biggest buildings on Herne Bay High Street are set to go under the hammer next month.

The space over the Natwest bank in the Herne Bay High Street is being offered by Clive Emson. Sitting on a corner, the building is one of the most striking on the street. Auctioneers are predicting the floors could easily be converted into flats, after it is sold on a 125 year lease.

The leasehold guide price is £95-105,000.

Dave Henwood, auction valuer, said: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire the upper parts of a handsome building in the town centre.¬†There is an independent access from the ground floor, two rooms and a bathroom on the first floor and a former kitchen, and cloakroom, with toilets and five other rooms on the second floor.”

Starting at 11am, the seventh of Clive Emson’s regional Kent auctions in 2015 takes place in Maidstone, on Monday November 2.
